简介I am very proud to be a senior advisor at ZhishiQ and have had the pleasure of clients gaining successful entry into many fine international universities including London School of Economics, Imperial College, Penn U, Colombia and Chinese University of HK. I see words creatively, like a picture that needs every element composed to make a masterpiece, as well as, technically - how they fit and what meaning they convey. I have edited numerous disciplines; physics, architecture and planning, biomedical informatics, environmental engineering, marketing, education and pedagogy, public policy. When students get into their dream university programs, this of course makes me very happy and is why I do this job ;)

自我介绍I was born and raised in Samoa, a little island in the South Pacific, and spent most of my spare time climbing trees and swimming or snorkelling the beautiful reefs surrounding my home. Now I live in a small village in Norway, nestled between high, snowy mountains and Norway's longest and deepest fjord.
I have extensive writing experience: a column in a newspaper that had 30,000 readership called 'Back to basics' whereby I focused on eco-environmental and sustainable practices; wrote a play for teens presented at The Clink Theatre FNQ; I have also edited manuscripts, children's stories, letters and essays locally. My particular talent with respect to editing is to remain true to the client's 'voice' and to develop and enhance the narrative based upon their real life abilities.
One of my recent projects is an audio adventure play for children called 'Daintree Kids find Mad Dog's Cave', and is set in the Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland, Australia whereby my characters, four children embark on a camping trip, exploring a creek and encountering some of the weird and wonderful flora and fauna one finds in the rainforest, including fireflies, stinging trees and green tree frogs.

Australian Butterfly sanctuary
I know a lot about butterflies! The tour travels through the butterfly sanctuary, where I talk about egg collections, predators that affect butterflies, the way that butterflies see colour and shapes. We pass through the laboratory, where we discuss the various growth stages of caterpillars, how they transform into the chrysalis and then butterfly. We discuss butterfly scales, life spans, and points of interest such as the fact that some butterflies are highly toxic. The next stage covers butterfly courtship and also air battles between territorial males.

SelfThis is an exciting project for me. A children's audio adventure set in the beautiful Daintree Rainforest. A great story for kids to listen to, and learn about the weird and wonderful flora and fauna of the rainforest, as well as, enjoy the antics of the main characters, Sam, Bec, Dylan and Camille, as they discover the hide-out of an escaped prisoner, get into difficulties in the rainforest and deepen their friendship through their experiences. Fairfax PressI have written extensively about eco/environmental sustainability and efforts by local businesses to minimise their impact on the environment.and reduce their carbon footprint. My favourite story was when a UN delegation came to my area and I covered their trip around the arboreal forests, and spoke to Dr David Brand, a leading proponent of sustainable forest farming practices.

Tanya is the best tutor for me, who tries to apply for graduate programme of anthropology and never have studied on these courses before. I felt really luck to meet her, a gorgeous and responsible teacher, who gave me lots of informative suggestions on focus, stance and direction of how to write a good SOP. She is patient and full of enthusiasm on discipline of humanity, always straightaway pointed out what are missing in my SOP and where I should add more, detailing with reasons and examples. It helps me easier to understand what she tries to convey. I think writing one iteration of SOP is also one opportunity to clarify one's academic goals and make his/her research stance stronger.
I am appreciated that I have this deep communication with Tanya, which help myself better understand the discipline of anthropology and learned the ways of thinking with a critical mind. Hope we will have next cooperation soon! Definitely recommend her to the students who need someone to help them on the way of achieving their dream academic goals :)
