Q1:爱丁堡大学商学院可以同时申请多个专业吗？

A1：可以。但不同专业要准备不同的文书，不能一封文书走天下，同时收申请费的专业都得在官网充值。

You may apply for more than one programme if you wish, however you will be required to submit a separate application form for each programme.
You will need to upload your supporting documents for each application.Your reference letter and personal statement should both be programme-specific as you will need to be able to demonstrate your motivation for applying.
Please note that if you apply for more than one programme which requires an application fee, you will be required to pay a separate fee for each programme.

Q2:申爱丁堡大学商学院需要准备GMAT吗？

A2:不需要，有时间不如早点把雅思过了。

No, you do not need to take the GMAT to apply for any of our MSc programmes.
Please read the Entry Requirements for each MSc for full details of the minimum academic requirements.

Q3：爱丁堡大学官网填完网申后，几天没收到myed账号咋办？

A3：爱丁堡大学的myed就是追踪系统，可以后补材料和查询申请进度。无论你爱丁堡申几个专业，最后都会合并到myed系统里面去，这个账号密码是你网申结束后邮件发给你的，是个S开头的码，但这个邮件，快的几分钟能收到，慢的等1周可能都没收到。如果你没收到，就得联系爱丁堡解决，不然你没办法知道自己的申请结果。

You should receive your account log in details and UUN from EUCLID shortly after submitting your application.
If you have not received this within a few days, please contact Student Systems.
Log in to your EUCLID account to track the progress of your application.
Any requests or notifications from the admissions team will be sent to your MyEd inbox.
You should also receive an email alerting you to any updates – this will be sent to the contact email specified in your application.

Q4：如果我第一轮被拒了，可以第二轮再莽一波其它专业吗？

A4：可以。如果你觉得你第一轮不够强，第二轮材料看上去变强了，可以第二轮re-apply，但是不能保证一定会有Offer.

You may re-apply if you feel that your application has strengthened considerably by the next admissions cycle,
however we cannot guarantee that you will be made an offer the second time round.

Q5：我这人性格比较急，没出结果的时候，能邮件催下进度吗？

A5：可以催，但没必要，申请量太大了，这种邮件他们一般很难回复。

No. Due to the high volume of applications we receive and the associated heavy email traffic, we would kindly ask that applicants do not email us requesting frequent updates.
You can track the progress of your application through your EUCLID portal and you will be alerted to any updates via your MyEd inbox.

Q6：我递交申请后，爱丁堡大学商学院多久给结果？

A6：2个月到半年都是正常的，他们是玩round的，但每次到了round的节点，也喜欢放鸽子，所以如果决定申，一般是长期追踪的。

Q7：爱丁堡大学好argue吗？

A7：不好argue，学院是真的不差好学生那种。

Decisions are final and will generally not be reconsidered.

Q8：爱丁堡大学早申和晚申有区别吗？

A8：建议可能的情况下，越早投递越好

Competition for places varies from programme to programme, but due to strong competition for places and the high quality of applications received for many programmes, preference may be given to those with grades above the minimum requirements.
Additionally, some programmes reach capacity before the suggested deadline of 30 June, so you will increase your chances of acceptance if you apply early.

Q9：爱丁堡大学留位费可以退吗？

A9：比较抠门，一般不给退，但特殊情况可以退。

Deposits are normally non-refundable.
However, in certain circumstances you may be eligible for a refund.

Q10：我的单个申请材料有大小限制吗？

A10：一般单个申请材料不能大于2MB，所以要压缩下。

There is a file size limit of 2MB for each individual supporting document.
If your document is larger than this, either use compression software to create a .zip file, or separate the file into smaller files and upload them as ‘unspecified documents’
If you are still unable to upload documents, please send them to futurestudents@ed.ac.uk quoting the programme you applied for and your University Username (UUN).

Q11：商学院的Personal Statement字数要求多少？

A11：基本要求是500英文字，实际申请，有2个框框，第一个框框把500字的PS放进去，第二个框框，你可以放自己的CV，也可以自己写上一段自己和专业相关的技能描述，当然你甚至可以把PS写不完的部分，放在第二部分也可以。有些文书机构说爱丁堡有2个500字的PS，其实是对申请不懂，爱丁堡的PS只有500字，第二个框框就算你不填东西，你其它材料都强，一样可以下Offer。

Q13：推荐信有什么要求？

A13：最好1个老师的推荐信是1页A4纸以内，签字日期是申请前6个月的，要写明日期，而且要带你本科学校的抬头。而且爱丁堡有些专业只要1封推荐信或不要推荐信。
