Corinna is completing a PhD at the University of Oxford and has also studied towards a PhD at the University of Cambridge. She has a Masters from the University of Cape Town and a B.A. from Germany.Corinna has plenty of experience in research within and outside academia; she has published and regularly presents papers at international conferences. She is also a professional journalist, writer, communications trainer and leadership coach – keen to help you on your road to academic success.

A former full time professor at the University of Michigan in Earth Sciences, with 5 years of experience in teaching & mentoring students (including ESL) and graduate admissions. Extensive publication record for manuscripts and grant proposals. Currently an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan & University of Wyoming.

I am a native English speaker from South Africa, and have studied master's degrees at both Oxford and Cambridge. I have studied engineering, economics as well as Chinese international relations. I am currently learning Mandarin.

I am currently studying for a PhD in Nanoscience at the University of Cambridge. My research aims to analyse new nanoparticulate samples by advanced metrological techniques, including high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). After University I hope to start my own company.
