I'm an American living and working in England which means I've had the best of both worlds in terms of English speaking and writing. I have worked as an editor, an ESL tutor and an admissions officer and I hold degrees from Stanford University and NYU (and I'm currently at Oxford University). Thus I am not only very qualified but also very familiar with the graduate application process. I've worked with many students from all over the world and I am committed to the very best customer service.

I've worked extensively with an international clientele. At Stanford I worked in the ESL program to assist students with their English translations for coursework essays and applications to graduate programs. This included working particularly with East Asian and South Asian clients, and thus I've developed a keen eye and ear for the way these non-native English speakers construct sentences in English; I can easily interpret their meaning and anticipate their needs. I've developed the patience and deference to deliver excellent customer service to such clients. I've often found that international clients tend to be exceedingly polite and I've also found that Western editors simply need to listen carefully to their needs.

Furthermore, I've worked in the Law Admissions office at Stanford and the Graduate English office at Oxford. This has allowed me to view the admission process from the other side (i.e. not just as a student). I know what admission officers are looking for, how they think, and what they expect from candidates, and I can use that knowledge to help direct clients toward successful applications.

I hold a Bachelors in English and Education from Stanford University, an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University, and I'm currently pursuing a PhD in English from Oxford University.
