Hi! I'm James, a neuroscientist and professional writer. I have a PhD, MSc and BA (1st class) from Oxford University in Neuroscience and have over a decade of experience as a research scientist and university lecturer at Oxford University, UC Berkeley, University College London, Trinity College Dublin, and the RIKEN Brain Sciences Institute in Tokyo. Having successfully interviewed at Oxford three times and then at the University of London, I know what it takes to make it into elite academic institutions. Following my career in academia I am now a professional writer and have spent a decade writing and editing academic prose, popular science articles, and grant applications.
