I have a BA from Durham University in Theology and Religion, an MSt from Oxford University in Theology and am currently a PhD researcher at the University of Birmingham - schools which rank in the top 15 in the UK. I have extensive experience of writing essays, dissertations and applications to meet strict deadlines. I also currently work for an NGO where I am responsible for writing, editing and proofing various content both online and in print. This has taught me to have an eye for detail and given me the knowledge of how to communicate clearly but persuasively and effectively. I believe that well-crafted writing is powerful and together we can help show admissions departments your worth and demonstrate why you should have the opportunity to pursue the programmes and subjects of your interest.

Previously I have worked in secondary education where I was involved in tutoring and mentoring students in academic work and university applications. Because of this and my own experiences I am very familiar with the higher education admissions process and what makes a unique and strong application and enjoy working 1-1 with individuals to help them achieve their goals. I can provide the structural, grammatical and operational tools to shape your personal expression, character and purposes.

I have also worked in English Language Schools as a House Manager, responsible for the welfare of students from all over the world learning English. I understand  the difficulty of trying to communicate with limited vocabulary. Building relationships with people from all over the world through language-barriers has been so rewarding and has made me a patient and creative communicator. I believe we can have a productive partnership through our different in cultures, languages and geographical distance.
