As someone who spends much of their working day writing and editing, I take pleasure in helping to communicate messages clearly. I mainly focus on medical and scientific writing and editing, helping physicians, researchers, and nurses to communicate their messages, targeted for a specific audience. With 15 years of writing and editing experience, I have an eye for detail and enjoy tailoring my work for my specific clients. My name is Elana and I have been working for the last 15+ years in the field of medical and scientific writing and editing!

I started my career in the biotechnology industry, initially in the field of literary research and writing, and then transitioning into the lab, where I spent several months conducting experiments, running gels and growing cells. 

After two years, I moved into the field of medical and scientific writing, where I have been ever since. I work with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, scientists, doctors and nurses, working on their writing publications: papers, presentations, posters, letters, and speeches. 

I have have writing and editing experience in the fields of personal finance and history.

I love helping people get their message across clearly, and enjoy working with different people on different projects. I would be happy to work with you too!
