Corinna is completing a PhD at the University of Oxford and has also studied towards a PhD at the University of Cambridge. She has a Masters from the University of Cape Town and a B.A. from Germany.Corinna has plenty of experience in research within and outside academia; she has published and regularly presents papers at international conferences. She is also a professional journalist, writer, communications trainer and leadership coach – keen to help you on your road to academic success.

I am a native English speaker with 10 years of experience in academic writing and advanced training in biostatistics, genetics and epidemiology, including a PhD from the University of Cambridge. I have also previously worked as an editor on a number of student magazines at the University of Cambridge and have experience working with ESL (English as a second language) authors through my work as an ad hoc reviewer for scientific journals.

With an MSc from the University of Edinburgh, I have many years of experience in teaching undergraduate students and have mentored hundreds of students. As a writer and editor, I am skilled at providing effective, inspiring and motivating feedback. My first priority is establishing a warm and supportive relationship with any student I work with. I am a native English speaker from South Africa, and have studied master's degrees at both Oxford and Cambridge. I have studied engineering, economics as well as Chinese international relations. I am currently learning Mandarin.
