I am currently writing up my PhD thesis at London Metropolitan University.  I also work in the voluntary and charity sector in both paid and unpaid roles for LGBT organisations including Opening Doors, an Age UK project for older LGBT people and Gendered Intelligence, a community interest company that works with young people and seeks to engage people in debated about gender.  

I have a Masters degree in Equality and Diversity, and a wealth of UK and overseas experience in education and project management.

I enjoy cooking, reading and cultural engagment.
