Since graduating with a degree in English Language and Literature, I have had a varied relationship with words; from teaching them to students in China where I was Senior Teacher at a well-known language school, to using them to tell informative, accurate and entertaining stories as a journalist and content writer, and, most recently, drafting correspondence in Westminster for ministers of Her Majesty’s Government. To add to that, I also moonlight as a proofreader of GCSE textbooks, making the text shine.
