My name is Dr Harriet MacMillan and I am an editor and proofreader with over 8 years of experience. My clients to date have primarily been postgraduate students, but I have also worked commercially on publications including religious books, football annuals and business communications. I am particularly experienced in working with Chinese doctoral students.

I have a PhD in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, a Master of Studies in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford and a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. I'm also a Tutor at the University of Edinburgh, teaching undergraduate students Victorian and Modernist literature.
 
My day job is as a Literature Officer for a public body in Scotland. In this role, I support writers and publishers across the country. Before taking up this post, I worked at the University of Edinburgh's Law School and as such, I am well-versed in admissions processes. I have supported many different university applications and can offer the institutional perspective to students.

    Though Harriet is learned in editing and revising, he seemed to be perfunctory in helping me with the CV editing, which was the first unimpressive experience in ZhiShiQ: Noticeable grammatical errors were retained in the CV. Moreover, the format and mechanism was not perfected: the revised CV was mediocre and pedestrian. Luckily, advisor Tanya undertook this task, which was totally complimentary. Tanya is punctilious, empathetic, and professional. As a result, my sister was awarded 32000 dollars scholarship for MPA/MBA joint program at JHU.
