院校简介悉尼大学（University of Sydney）是澳大利亚的公立大学。悉尼大学是全澳和整个大洋洲第一所大学，创立于1850年，位于新南威尔士州的首府悉尼。悉尼大学目前有51,394在校学生（2013年统计）。悉尼大学历史上培养了一系列的重要人物，包括六位澳大利亚总理（包括现任总理托尼•艾伯特)、23位最高法院法官、联合国大会主席、世界银行总裁、七位诺贝尔奖或克拉福德奖得主等，并有100名学生获得罗德奖学金。悉大主校区位于悉尼内城区，市中心西南，其哥特式的主楼和其它历史建筑是重要的文物遗产。160年后，现在学校已有多个校区，其中多数集中在悉尼，此外学校在澳大利亚全国各处以及国外拥有其他教研设施。悉大是澳大利亚八大名校的成员，在澳大利亚被归为6所砂岩学府之一。悉尼大学同时是环太平洋大学联盟与亚太国际贸易教育暨研究联盟的成员。

On main campus the University of Sydney has three residence halls. The university also keep a database listing off-campus accommodation for students wishing to rent privately.
On campus accommodation costs include amenities, meals and other fees.
A student living off-campus can expect to pay up to £2,600 (AU$4,063) in arrival costs.
Including health insurance, utility bills and food most students pay between £227 and £260 ($350-400) a week, whether living on or off campus.
