I teach online for Capella University, in the School of Education, Program in K-12 Studies. My work involves many responsibilities, including facilitating courses, mentoring doctoral students, designing curriculum, and creating graduate courses in educational innovation and technology.
Georgia Southern University
At Georgia Southern, I served as an assistant professor across two programs - Early Childhood Education and Special Education. After my first year there, I became the program coordinator for Early Childhood Education. My expertise in K-8 mathematics education provided many opportunities for work with teachers in schools and colleagues.
Alabama A&M University
At Alabama A&M, I was an instructor in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Educator. I taught courses in both special education and elementary education, primarily in regard to the inclusion of students with disabilities in general education settings and in mathematics education. I served as an advisor for approximately 150 graduate students in the teacher certification program.
