隆德大学 (http://www.lunduniversity.lu.se) 是北欧最古老和最大的高等教育和科研机构之一，拥有七个学院、多个研究中心和专门机构。 隆德的学术传统可以追溯到中世纪，那时这里设有一所神学院。由于隆德当时是斯堪的那维亚大主教的所在地，因此成了中世纪斯堪的那维亚的思想中心。隆德大学建立于1666年，发展到今天，隆德大学已成为一个高等教育与科学研究的现代化中心。
