I have been applying for and studying in hard science degree programs for much of my life, and I know that it can be an opaque and frustrating process. My goal as an advisor is to help you understand what institutions want to see but won't ask for; what their prompts are really trying to get you to say, what of yourself and your experiences you want to emphasize, and what will convince them that you are a good fit for their program. I want my feedback to help you understand what Western universities expect their applicants to already know.
